Customer service communications
Emergency alerts and notifications
Marketing messages (with proper consent)
Internal business communications
3. Prohibited Activities
Strictly Prohibited:
Sending unsolicited messages (spam)
SHAFT content (Sex, Hate, Alcohol, Firearms, Tobacco)
Illegal products or services
Fraudulent or deceptive content
Harassment or threatening messages
Phishing or social engineering attempts
Malware distribution
Copyright infringement
4. Compliance Requirements
All users must comply with:
TCPA (Telephone Consumer Protection Act)
CAN-SPAM Act
CTIA Messaging Principles and Best Practices
10DLC guidelines
Carrier-specific requirements
Industry-specific regulations (HIPAA, etc.)
5. Consent Management
Required:
Obtain explicit consent before sending messages
Maintain records of consent
Honor opt-out requests immediately
Provide clear opt-out instructions
6. Enforcement
Violations of this AUP may result in:
Warning and required corrective action
Temporary service suspension
Permanent account termination
Legal action where appropriate
