Compose New Email

Start by opening your preferred email client (Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail, etc.) and clicking “Compose” or “New Message”.

Use the special TextBolt email format

In the “To” field, enter the recipient’s phone number using this format:

phonenumber@yourdomain.sms.textbolt.com

Example: 15551234567@acme.sms.textbolt.com

Note: Use the full 11-digit number (1 + area code + number)

Write Your Message

Compose your SMS message in the email body

Type your message in the email body. Keep it concise and clear.

Best Practices:

  • Keep messages under 160 characters for single SMS
  • Include your business name for identification
  • Add opt-out instructions for marketing messages
  • Use clear, actionable language

Example Message:

“Hi John, your appointment with ABC Dental is confirmed for tomorrow at 2 PM. Reply STOP to opt out.”

Your message will be delivered as SMS within seconds

Click “Send” and your message will be converted to SMS and delivered to the recipient’s phone within seconds.
